The Muku Shuttr is an awesome new gadget for any smartphone photography lover. It’s a small remote that connects to your iPhone or Android device via Bluetooth and enables users to snap photos from a distance. For group shots and selfies, that means no embarrassing “selfie arm” your pictures.
Shuttr is tiny enough to slap onto your keychain, and comes with a bulbous suction-cup stand that props up your phone. Shuttr’s range is the Bluetooth standard – about 30 feet.
Shuttr will set you back $29, and works with your phone’s built-in camera app, plus the popular Camera+ app. However, for such an awesome concept, it’s a big bummer that it doesn’t currently work with Instagram and Vine. Hopefully they plan to include that feature in the future. Good thing Shuttr is conveniently small – because that’s what really sets it apart from competitors.
The Muku Shuttr has already surpassed its Kickstarter fundraising goal of $10,000, and will begin the manufacturing process once their funding period expires on August 9th.
