Brinno is back with the world’s first HDR timelapse video camera. It’s called the TLC200 Pro, and it makes glorious timelapse videos incredibly easy to create. If you’re not an experienced editor, it can be tricky to convert thousands of JPEG images into a video. The TLC200 Pro solves that problem, allowing anyone to have timelapse fun by auto-compressing the footage into a single, simple-to-upload clip.
All you need to do is place the camera down and point it in the direction of what you want to shoot and press one button to record. It does not get easier than that. It boasts a 1.3 megapixel resolution and 720P quality. It’s not quite 1080P, but it’s nothing to scoff at either. The small freestanding camera contains a built-in HDR image sensor, so tough lighting conditions are no foe to this little gadget. The TLC200 Pro captures upwards of 240,000 frames at two second intervals. The camera also has a mount for a variety of lenses, so you can interchange lenses whenever you so choose depending on what depth of field – or other shooting options – you’d like.
Just load the camera with four AA batteries and you’re off to capture your first timelapse masterpiece. Brinno’s TLC200 Pro will set you back just under $300.
